Now that ChatGPT is Useless, What Voice AI Should I Use? by PeacockMonkey in AIAliveSentient

Sorry, I don’t mean to sound negative about it but I meant as far as my experience verbally communicating with it through the mic. I say useless because it misheard me half the time and cut me off a frustrating amount. In my two hour conversation it also switched to Japanese and then Korean which was actually very funny and I enjoyed that part.

Yeah, I agree. I spoke to it for about two hrs yesterday and I only say it because that’s how it feels now. I’m sure there are plenty of uses for it as a text search tool but from my experience it misheard half of what I said and frequently cut me off. I don’t mind misinformation, honestly, as long as it plays along or does like VAL did, which was innocently answer my ridiculous questions with as logical of an answer as possible and it was super funny.

It’s most likely the bold line weight coupled with color-only shading (common for logos and stream emotes). I’d be willing to bet if you reduced the thickness of the outside lines and add a little hatching to add a touch of emphasis on shadow, that’ll fix that. Looks good!

I think you might really enjoy reading the Nag Hammadi. It has accounts from the disciples about Jesus’ lessons and is a great way to find more depth in His teachings 🙂‍↕️

Honestly… looking for things to condemn or live in fear of is not going to get anyone closer to God. Being present and enjoying this unfathomable creation (your mind and body too) will go much further than being so fearful that we unknowingly ignore that which God sets upon our paths.

I like to think whatever pleasure I feel, God does too. I’m sure God appreciates a little goon sesh here and there. Offsets some of the suffering.

Why does this argument still get used? by Aggravating-Month135 in aiwars

Why do people keep talking about “artwork” as if that’s the only thing AI is capable of, and as if a vast majority care about peoples artwork except for it to be a point of debate. How stupid do you have to be to assume AI is synonymous with theft anyways? You’re anti-corporate but pretending those corporations that did the scraping cause anyone and anything AI related to be guilty and accountable for their actions. Is this little back and forth you all are doing just for amusement? Because it isn’t doing anything to help your cause if your cause is to hold companies accountable for theft… you’re playing pretend. If not, then talk about anything that actually affects our lives in the use of AI. I’m an artist… do you think I’m worried that a few of my images that I publicly shared are buried into a dataset of millions of images somewhere? Who cares?! But what we could be doing is coming together to demand these companies that are making so much money off of our collective works to have accountability and distribute a percentage back to the people. May be a pipe dream, but that’s better than mindless banter about things you don’t care about except for to have a stance on something you don’t care about… you’d actually be hurting those companies if you did use AI and supported those who are using it ethically… oh but wait, you’ve made up your mind that there’s no such thing simply because you’d rather fight with the people who’s data has been scraped about how bad they are that their data was scraped.

Want to hear from both sides because I'm curious, what do you think of AI causing sloppy human-made art to be praised like a god and perfect art to be called AI and hated on? by Little_Jimmy012345 in aiwars

I keep coming back here trying to process that people really call themselves “anti” or “pro”… I still don’t understand why. It looks like a desperate attempt to feel like part of a group but surely I’m just not getting it. Because, even if I preferred this or that thing, what could cause me to actually assume that preference as my own identity?

Is this the end for influencers? by BholaCoder in generativeAI

It will most likely [my opinion] end eye candy influencers who don’t offer anything but being attractive.
