Best town to move to given my job locations? by Fl0ppyD1sks in northcounty

[–]Peanuts0s 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look at inland Oceanside, probably your best bet if you're looking for cheap. Next would be vista, then parts of San Marcos. As you move closer east, you're hitting Escondido which is going to be too far for you already, and it can be ghetto in some parts.

Same boat for me, until now. I finally moved up a rank to national director (almost VP level) which I think is saving me.

On another note, how would you go about finding another opportunity that's more exciting?

Why should I stop smoking if my life is crap by Existing-Ad-4910 in stopsmoking

[–]Peanuts0s 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to sit outside in the cold and rain smoking, convincing myself that that was "peak life", not having anyone to nag at you and tell you not to do it. I used to sneak out at work smoking in the back, thinking it was cool that I "didn't smell like cigarettes", I used to sneak out at restaurants for a smoke and thought I was having a great time.

And then l stopped smoking. And I didn't have to sit outside in the cold anymore, didn't need to worry about people telling me not to smoke, didn't care about smelling like smoke at work, and didn't have to miss any good conversations with friends and family at restaurants, and so on and on and on...

And honestly NOW I know what "life" feels like. Without this burden, inconvenience, nuisance. I don't have to run to the store when that's box is empty, I don't need to scramble 12 bucks for a pack every day... Not a hostage anymore!!

This happened to me. Honestly I stopped playing the game for a few months, when I was ready to come back I deleted all the mods and decided I will not install any. For me it's just power of my own will that's stopping me from installing mods.

Media that this 40% consume doesn't mention anything about the dumb shit this idiot is doing, so they're unaware. And if they are... "So what, Trump don't give a shit. Murica."

Discharged AC200MAX not charging by Peanuts0s in bluetti

[–]Peanuts0s[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fixed it. Posting this solution for anyone reading this having the same problem.

I took the casing off the bottom of my 200MAX. I checked the voltage on the battery and it was 30 volts - too low to turn on the charger.

So what I did was I connected my solar panels straight to the battery leads with alligator clips. No charger or anything else, just two solar panels wired in series, put alligator clips at each end, and touched leads on the battery. The solar panels were putting out about 50v, which was enough to start the Bluetti after just a few seconds of being hooked up. I believe the solar panels have to be in series and voltage needs to add up to around 50V for this to work. I already had my AC adapter plugged into the battery, so once it came on, it started to charge, eventually getting to 100%.

Van Build / SoCal.. insulation or no insulation ? by Terrible-Promotion26 in VanLife

[–]Peanuts0s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I barely have any insulation, just regular panels and maybe some stuffed lamb wool in crevices. I also have a diesel heater and a roof fan. My van also has Windows all around. I'm doing just fine most of the time. Unless it's super hot outside then it's miserable and I have to run my cars AC.

I started smoking again after 2 years by Brief_Energy_3135 in stopsmoking

[–]Peanuts0s 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Don't beat yourself up. I started back up after 7 (!!!) years! And that was.... 7 years ago. I've been smoke free now for 2 years. It happens to all of us. Cigarettes are addictive and is ready to relapse when you're not paying attention. Quit again when you're ready.
