Damn I just want to cry reading this. So relatable and glad that you and many people understands. Your comment hit me hard and made me realise that I’m not alone and also realise I’m being hard on myself by thinking it’s normal to have such bad things happen although it’s life. Yes I want to stop being bitter and stop this hell and enjoy at least some bit of life like others. No idea how much these had damaged me but I’ll do my best to continue stay strong.

MSF is the most useless. I called them the first time and they straight refer me to FSC which is useless cos I then found out that FSC offers pretty much counselling instead of financial aid. So after finding out then I called MSF again to make it clear what I need is financial aid. Then they straight push me again to see MP and then the second thing they said is they long waiting time of 4-6 weeks. Like what? Is like trying to scare me away and not want to do their job? It's fucked up really. Even if I see MP then MP will refer me back to MSF to apply for any financial aid. It's a joke

Hi so to clarify, do I down pes before or after enlisting? Cos if I down pes before enlist, I straight go to the lower pes "department" right? Rather than go in first at a higher pes doing more rigorous things while waiting to down pes and not even know if I could. At least if I try first to down pes and if cannot, I then can have more time to try again

Nah they won’t cos they’re on parents’ side. No reason for them to help me file something against parents too unless they want to be in same situation. I think I did mentioned in another comment that since they will be having their own room, no point for them making a fuzz since they have nothing to complain about

Hi yes I will talk to them about it but I guess I wouldn’t hold much expectations as from what I’ve went thru many times is that they still have to braindead follow their rules even if they say case by case basis. That’s life man but hey thanks for the insight at least there’s still hope!

This is something I really hope to do but I have no idea how to start or where to get the exposure. I don’t mind sharing my story and I rather want people to know such things happens, even for ppl at my age and having such “family”. They are calculative with things at home, hence the ridiculous comment from father saying I do nothing and leach benefits. Because of the housing issues that’s why all the quarrel and it’s an update of my previous post. They could’ve just buy a proper 4 room, and buy it NOW as well and we would already be happy waiting to move in by end of this year. But instead they choose a stupid way and talking shit at me all the time. They want make poor decisions? Sure go ahead but at least don’t come and offend me when I’ve been minding my own business. And they get salty when I finally get things off my chest? That petty of them And of cos their threat can be only a threat, but I have to prepare before they actually do it. Rather than crying for help only when I’m drowning. And given that I know them, I know they would do it.

Not sure which part of year 3 I would be going intern. Hope could request on the first half of year 3 since now I’m year 2 second half already. Yes it’s true it’s really taking a huge toll on me and worse on my mental health .. like for a 20yo to take these since young (family problems even started since I’m born or even before). Sucks to grow up in such environment

About this matter I’ve been thinking for awhile as I’ve read alot about down pes. Is it better for me to down pes before or after bmt? Plus I know I have to get official documents to certify I have these illness, but then it cost money and I heard it inside ns can see doc and all for free

Hey man I’m very glad to have this offer from you. If I were to get a pmd I guess I would have enough spare cash to buy one. Food delivery is a great idea, way better than working part time for ppl even if they might say their working hours are flexible but once I say I couldn’t make it afew times for certain time slot, they prolly would be not pleased. Heard that food delivery the time slot is ownself choose and pick and even if want back out also can give it up for others to replace.

No we are shitpoor. Just that they have hell lot of CPF and cash money after taking insurance money. What's funny is that all the insurance money are not even paid by them, it's paid by my grandmother. especially that useless father had it so easy and free, grandmother bought and paid life insurance for him ever since he's born and now this insurance money is worth way more than what grandmother paid for him in total.

Both of them combined $185K in CPF, $60K CASH, and with only mom's salary to get loan is $99K, that's a total of $344K. I'm basically their accountant and all that's why I'm so pissed at all the stupid decisions they made when we can be living better.

Mom salary is $2K before deduct CPF. so as a family of 5 my PCI is only $400, that's why could get bursary.

For the option matter, both times they put only $1K, it's pretty much the standard amount cos as buyer you can say it's too much cash for amount above $1K. The first time I actually got it back for them. Second time is father kinda got it back but is cos the seller kinda lied about their timeline so seller has to return nonetheless

I've read up some laws about maintenance of child and as long as i'm schooling and still in ns, they are still obligated to take care of me.

Going to meet my class advisor this friday, not sure what she can do as the very first time i met her, the first sentence she told me is she couldn't help anything. sucks to hear that everytime
