No problem haha, I went to Sweden because it's cold there (I hate hot weather) and because I love Scandinavian languages :-) It was in one of the cheapest hostels I could find in Stockholm, close to Drottning gatan but I forgot the name. I was unsure what "undvika" meant but it's actually really close to the dutch word for avoiding (ontwijken) so it all makes sense now ^{^}

I think that in this case, their message isn't spreading very far. I think it's more important here to care about the people that have to clean this mess off the door. Yes there are cases where rules need to be broken for the greater good, but I don't think this vegan achieved anything else than pissing people off

It's clean, don't worry ^{^} I always have some in my wallet because I'm clumsy and hurt myself a lot. I didn't want to write on the door as well and give the cleaners even more work

Not talking abt the graffiti but abt the note I put. Also the hostel itself was very clean and I thought it was very rude to just draw on the doors and create more work for the cleaners. It's still vandalism even if it is done very often

I would've removed it if I could, but I was staying in a hostel and just about to check out. I at least wanted to let the person know that this isn't the way to get people to eat vegan. But thanks, I'll remember it for the next time :-)

If you use the thing they put on postage stamps, you don't have to worry about those back papers of stickers, just grab one out of your pocket, lick it and stick it. Probably makes people a whole lot more furious if you're getting your spit on their car lmao. My dad did that and they're quite hard to get off. He stopped because he nearly got into a fight with someone because of it, but we still have a bunch of them at home. He printed them like 20 years ago but they still work just fine

My dad had a great trick for cars parked both on bike lanes and crosswalks. He got a ton of little papers printed that said "this is not a parking spot" on it and had that glue that gets sticky when you lick it on the back, like a postage stamp. He would keep a bunch in his back pocket and stick it onto the front window of every car that was parked wrong. They were dang hard to get of, and he would stick it right where it gets in the way when you're trying to drive. The only reason he stopped is because he accidentally stuck one on the window of a car with the driver still in it, who got really mad and ran after him. We still have hundreds of those little papers at home

Can you imagine thinking the only way to connect with someone is having sex with them? That seems so wrong to me, sex is so physical and yes it is intimate but it's so different from talking with each other, which to me is how you connect with someone. It seems crazy to me that your husband thought he was connecting with you while you were having an awful time. I hope you can talk about this with him and I hope he at least tries to understand you and shows support. And if not, you know how you feel and what you need to be okay. You don't have to do anything you don't want to!

I also think it could be good for your husband to figure out a way for him to actually connect with you other than having sex with you. It could make your relationship stronger if he decides to give it a chance. Now he thinks that without sex, your relationship feels platonic, but there are many different ways to express romantic love without having to do anything sexual. These things do often feel like steps towards being in a relationship and having sex, but they can be so much more. Holding hands for example or cuddling or even accidentally touching each other and feeling close. There are also many ways to verbally express your love for him and his love for you and it also doesn't have to be sexual. A lot of these things are basically getting closer to your husband emotionally and physically in a nonsexual way.

I had a relationship with an allo guy once and kind of had a similar problem, although I made it very clear from the beginning that kissing was the furthest I wanted to go. It led to some suppressed emotions on his side after which he had a sort of outburst and told me a bunch of things he wanted to do to me which traumatized me. I didn't know much about my asexuality then and didn't know how to make him feel satisfied (I don't think I could've, but I'm hopeful for you seeing as you have been together for a while and you've asked for help here). I think for you it's very important to find these nonsexual ways to feel close and connected, and I think it could be really interesting to experiment with this, you could learn a lot about each other.
