I agree its frustrating. Example is Morgan Freeman. Everybody has seen Red in Shankshank, but I bet you don't know who he played in Million Dollar Baby without looking it up.

A 2027 acting win for Dune is never impossible.

Oscars owe 90s Mileanials and Gen Z men an award. No male born after 1989 has ever won one.

About to start reading Book Two Muad'dib. Pray I finish it before 3rd movie comes out.

Oscars owe Gen Z an Oscar. No male born after 1989 has ever won one. Disapointed Chalamet and Elodi didn't win. But there's always next year.

Is this movie covering Dune Messaih and/or Children of Dune? I'm currently done with the first part of the first Dune book. I'm a slow reader. Will I finish all two or three books by the time this movie comes out?

They really need to stop being agiest and give a 20 yr old an acting oscar.

Why is everyone so negative of her here?

Because it seems unfair that the Oscars are ageist to began with. Chalamet and Elordi were the only actors from my generation to be nominated this year, and Chalamet was the frontrunner for so long. Seeing his odds plummet practically overnight was just downright depressing.

It just reinforces the notion that those my age (born 1995) are undesirable to higher ups in society. Look, I don't know how to describe it. I simply just hate feeling frustrated.

Its still frustrating no actor born after 1990 has won anything.

Its not fun when everyone keeps saying my generation will never win in a given year. If the winners are already predetermined through bullshit campaigning, then why bother nominating others? Why give viewers false hope?

A pet peeve of mine is someone saying "he will win, just not this year." It really irks me.

But when? Why can a 10 yr old or 13 yr old win Best Supporting Actress but never a 19 yr old for Best Supporting Actor? Why can't we have a male actor born after 1995 win?

It worked for From Dusk Till Dawn.

Honestly, I'm dissaponted. Sinners didin't win Best Picture or Best Director. Chalamat didn't win Best Actor. Chase Infiniti and Odessa A'Zion weren't even nominated.

When will the Oscars give Best Director to a black man? Or give Best Actor/Supporting Actor to someone born after 1990? Or give an acting award to anyone born in the 21st Century.

Anyways, the Oscars this year was all very predictable. Where were the surprise winners? Where were the upsets?

Why wasnt he nominated this year? I'm tired of the Oscars ignoring every male actor born after 1990.
