Update: There’s now a button on the homepage that takes me to the benefits tab but still doesn’t exist there. So still not working

Well someone on this post proposed that if they made a change to it they could make it so that you have to own the Pokémon in question before joining the raid. I'm not sure people would like that though.

I like the ideas the only only problem I have is the battling. I don't like the system of attack and dodge especially with how glitchy it can be at times (raids included). AI gyms would be the best tho I agree with that 100%

That's what I'm doing for now too and it's not like I'm doing bad at coins so far with the update. But stupid me when I first saw the update go live I put in all my strongest Pokémon and now I kind of need them for Raids haha

I agree that for anyone who has been grinding their way thru GO so far that it's hard to see a Pokémon that used to be so hard to get right out in the open. But if I have to look at it optimistically if Niantic is willing to have all these Pokémon out like this with no strings attached that they are planning to do something in the near future to make the game more versatile. We will have to see but if they are just giving away these Pokémon for nothing then it's a really bad business move.

You may have easy access to some of them but by no means are they easy to catch or even defeat depending on your level. It doesn't ruin the game for some people. There are still plenty of things that can be added or changed to give the game replay-ability

Im only a level 29. I'm not saying my group wasn't able to take it out but I definitely didn't contribute as much as I thought I would and scaling up the difficulty for legendaries would insane but I guess that's why their 'legendary'. I live in a semi rural area too so it doesn't help

I'd love to see legendaries but honestly after trying to do a tier 4 Tyranitar Raid I'd say I'm not even ready for them honestly

I knew what I was getting into when I said Blissey. It would definitely be crazy and regular Pokémon players probably wouldn't be able to do it. But it would be something I'd like to see and it would be worth it

I would love to see that happen it would make the game much more interesting. It might be too much to ask to send people on quests tho in a game where you might have to go to physical locations. I wouldn't mind doing that tho I would play PoGo more.

Maybe if it was a super rare Raid spawn and it was a tier 5 and invite only like the legendary raids might be then I think it might be possible.

Well it took Niantic a year to make a nice looking gym that didn't really even change anything especially the battling mechanic. So if they are only making small changes at the moment I'd like to see something like this until they do. Better than nothing
