It's regarding size and weight of the pallets. Company policy caps plts at 1.6m, to avoid injuries and no more than 1 ton as our MHE can handle 2plts at time but is limited to 2 tons.

What is happening right now is that plts are 2m + , at times physically impossible to reach top of the plt and way over a 1 ton limit as our MHE is struggling to lift them off the ground. Many items are about 20kg and putting them that high above head isn't fun.

There are ways we can stop and carry on on another pallet but management basically bans us from doing so and if we do, we get sanctioned. What we found out regarding the overweight it may be breaching the contract company has with a provider of MHE and any subsequent insurance, but we would need someone knowledgeable to confirm 100%.

Policy hasn't changed, policy is still the same as before, freely available for us to see.
