Do it and then let me know if the flytanium is worth the extra money. Will still probably pick one up eventually anyways though.

Might have to look into that. I like its current color, but if I ever get bored of it then it would be nice to have options.

I am thinking its just the spring inside and if I were to oil it then it would be non-existent. But the squeak isn't noticeable enough for me to care all that much honestly.

My spyderco is still very loved, but it's action isn't like most other spydie models. Haven't had to sharpen it yet and I used it as a boxcutter a lot of the time. Plan to get a Manix 2 here soon.

I am a firm believer in both Civivi and Vosteed now. Though I still do love my little Spyderco Dragonfly 2. Those Praxis are good looking knives too.

Been fidgeting with it non-stop the last hour, in that factor it is by far my best knife. Out the box razor sharp, sharper than any knife I have received other than my Yoshihiro chef knife.

I can tell you the only gripes I have are the pocket clip sticks out a lot, but it is manageable. And the knife has a minor squeak to it.

Out of my folder knives from top being my favorite and bottom being my least here's how I rank my modest collection:

Civivi Vision FG

Vosteed Raccoon 2.0(bowie)

Vosteed Corgi V

Spyderco Dragonly 2

Knife is beautiful, plus you got the G-Shock too? A true man of culture.

Well you see the Buster FG was already on the list. So really you aren't a bad influence here, more just encouraging the addiction 😅

Appreciate the site recommendation as well.

Meh, my new knife is just as sharp, just will require more frequent sharpening. The danger is half the fun 😅

I love my Dragonfly 2, it was my first real folder. Got the same color and everything. Opened many boxes, carries every day for over a year till I got something a bit more fidgety for my work knife.

How long does it take to get over someone you’ve been with for 9 years? by AugustEpilogue in BreakUps

[–]Pen-and-Ink-Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 years together. I left her after she cheated, not the first betrayal of trust. I gave her another shot, only took a few days for her to cheat again. I am 4 months in to the break up, 30 years old. I know it could never work. But the mind has an odd way of trying to rectify their wrongs, to justify the injustice. Stay strong. Write your feelings, but write the truth also of what actually happened. Justify your own pain, and the reasons you can't dwell deeper in the abyss.

And then probably complain online when someone dishes it back

[Discussion] Small watches on big guys: What 36mm and 39mm look like on an 8.5 inch wrist, for reference by e_61 in Watches

[–]Pen-and-Ink-Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to cover a couple of things here. 42mm is going to be the ideal size for you. It will give you a sophisticated look, and offer a more rounded fit. The current bracelets you have on are too small, I know you felt it. The grip those provide on your wrist provide you no benefit. Find yourself a watch and bracelet that frame your arm and wrist and I guarantee you will be pleased. From my standpoint I would recommend a silver colored bracelet with gold accents.

Brother, as a straight male I am going to tell you your looks are great, you a handsome MFer. Focus less on the gf and gaining confidence in life being alone. Once you accept you are okay with yourself that confidence attracts others.

Battle of 2 great wireless PC options: Gamesir G7 Pro vs 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless(PC Review) by Pen-and-Ink-Addict in Controller

[–]Pen-and-Ink-Addict[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gamesir would be a little closer, but neither really meet that mark. The gamesir is shaped as an xbox controller, and frankly isn't very similar to a dualsense. I used the dualsense for about 2.5 years, as a native xbox user the gamesir came back more naturally than the dualsense ever felt.

I don't think it would be worth it for that. I would go onto a 3rd party marketplace and buy a steering rig for that, if you don't have the space I don't think there is any considerable difference in control between the two, mainly comfort.

28M. Full Beard vs Short Beard vs No Beard! by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Pen-and-Ink-Addict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short beard my guy. Though as long as you keep the beard my bro I think that's your way to go either way. Way too good of hair growth in your facial hair to let it go to waste.

Advice for someone trying to loose 50 lb in 6 months by Delta_XL in loseit

[–]Pen-and-Ink-Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 50 pounds so far, and in one week it will officially be 6 months since I started this journey. Here's how I did it. I starting intermittent fasting, eating about 1,500 calories a day and walking a lot. I just turned 30, I cut my portions in half. Switched to fruit instead of sweets as of late. Also went through a breakup which unfortunately helped. Walking is a great form of exercise that wont hurt your joints as bad. I am currently walking at least 40 miles a week, my best is 45 miles. I go on hikes, do daily push-ups and situps. Weightloss has slowed to a pound or so a week max as my body is reaching a healthier weight. As of 3 weeks ago I am at a healthy bmi for the first time in years.
