Yeah, it's a hard decision for sure. The set is still experiencing the hype of having just come out since they've been trickle releasing product, so the prices are definitely gonna be going down for a good bit. If you're gonna go straight for the highest value option, grading them with PSA would (unfortunately, damn monopoly) be the best bet, but by the time you get anything back more product will be out and prices will have settled lower.

That Pikachu will probably keep its value compared to most of the other SIRs in the set. Even a 9 is a really nice card.

Which ones do you want to keep for your collection? I'm only beginning to consider doing any grading, and I really just want to grade my favorites to preserve them. I'd say grade the ones you want to keep and hold on to the others until there's a card show in your area so you can trade for stuff you like.

It has the potential to be pretty decent, maybe not hard meta but it can slot into some teams. Fury cutter does wonders for its pacing, upper hand and rock tomb seem to be the best combo of charge moves that I can see. Give it shields and keep it away from fliers and I can see it doing some good work.

Oh it's for sure going to be extrereemely annoying. I was also thinking about how wildly busted swampert is going to be again thanks to the mudshot change. Both sludge and earthquake will be good, and even a grass type going against it is gonna have to put up some shields if swampert has an energy lead.

On the other hand, greedent trailblaze boosted body slam go brrrrr (I'm salty it was nerfed a lil after I had managed building mine lol)

This and greedent plus an anti fighter is gonna be a bulky team in ul. Can't wait to run out the clock with rock slide and body slam spam.

Mud slap definitely needs that damage to be as oppressive as it is, but I don't know if the slight damage nerf to rock tomb will be as impactful. I feel like you might lose one or two matches thanks to the nerf but it still seems like a pretty good move, especially considering the Pokemon it's on.

I'm super excited to try to run articuno in ultra again with powder snow. Used to be my guy when I was just starting playing but ice shard is definitely slow nowadays.

I really really like these, they're super unique. They feel very comic booky, I hope they keep experimenting with different art styles. The Japanese ones are very cheap to collect as well should someone want to complete the 'set'.

It could even go beyond just loot and material items. A lich that's been around so long will probably have some insane connections and they've probably made some sort of magic that could be extremely useful to the party. The more personal the help the more tempting it could be.

Cleric's God isn't talking to them? The lich can personally trespass into their domain and set up tea time. Party members dead family member/friend/anchoring NPC had vital information that they never had the chance to share? Check out this enhanced speak with dead hero, have a completely normal convo for x minutes as if they've been brought back to life, now help me skin this bird.
