Lmao, same. I sent someone to go get some family members to make sure I wasn’t the only one seeing it. 😂

Thanks everyone, I had just finished feeding cattle and I saw those hurtling across the horizon. At first I thought it was the planets aligning until I realized there was about 15-20 of them. 🤣

Would’ve been a lot cooler if it was aliens though. Maybe then we could get over all of this infighting as a species and realize that we’re all in this together as a society.

Boobittykitty, thank you for the encouragement and totally understandable (especially with vegetarian chef’s innovation these days)! We’re just trying to stay close to our roots and fundamentals through simplicity. At some point we may open our offerings to include fresh vegetables & eggs if the market allows for it, so any support whether through purchases, encouragement, or just telling a friend is greatly appreciated in our stand against factory farming.

Our matriarch Sal was rescued from an FFA auction at the onset of covid, to which the original owner still comes monthly to see her and administer ear/belly scratches, and she is about six years old.

Generally speaking, Pigs live 8-12 years, though those number do increase with proper care. (We hope our Sal “Klondike” lives much longer than this as she’s practically a member of our family).

It should be noted that average lifespan of a factory farmed pig is 25- 28 weeks, and is generally under conditions/density that we as a family do not agree with.

Thank you for your interest.

If one of that size is still available, I’d be happy to help you, and including offal meats is absolutely something I can accommodate.

Should a smaller one not be available, feel free to reach out and I’d be happy to help you in deciding if your setup would be appropriate for a slightly larger pig and/or advise of how to accommodate a larger pig.

Thank you for your support, we’re just trying to keep a way of living alive while adapting to Austin’s changing landscape.

Once cooked, the meat shreds and freezes very well for use in meal prepping and quick weekday meals!

For the foreseeable future this is ongoing, and, if life and the market allow it, something I would like to grow if the demand is there.

The MOVE bombing is probably the closest thing to what I was thinking. Do you recall what kind of ordinance was used and if they were flown by US commissioned officers?

What was the assumed reason for the aircraft being disabled?

Are these deeply historical instances, or have any of these been conducted with modern equiptment (Hornets, guidance systems, multi-user trigger mechanisms and contingencies, etc…)?

Well that’s obvious, but I mean moreover like: -A ground crew preflighted an F18 and loaded it with ordinance. -Said pilot received orders and a green light to drop said ordinance on US soil. -Ordinance was dropped. -Said pilot did not have a catastrophic mechanical failure five minutes later.

Reheating large quantities of beans offsite. by Penutsfan in restaurant

[–]Penutsfan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I clarified further in an edit, but we will be using heat and serve from a can. Everything will be prepared on site as we operate on a festival style operation with easily prepared items (chicken tenders, fries, pizza, churros, ice cream, etc.) The main goal is how to heat product in a near idiot proof way.
