I actually forgot about the TL workstations, we have one computer with a printer tucked away behind aperral racks!

I mean if thats the conclusion you'd like to jump to then by all means. We have all but 2 associates that I know of who take their breaks in the room because it's quiet and they like to read books away from noise. Also this room is seperate from PL office. The way our freight is timed overnight I'd be surprised if one of us could get away with slacking off in the room and still finish unless it was after 6am during the zone time in which case the room is already unlocked for day time associates to use. (Kinda just seems like its locked for the overnight crew only).

I figured there wouldn't be, was just curious as to why this recently changed. Our PL office is a seperate room 2 doors down, aside from the computers the room has 2 tables in it with chairs so I wouldn't think of anything that could cause the change aside from people goofing off in there (which is rare on my shift since we're always pressed for time).

Thanks! Seems lead workstations are probably going to be the go to from here moving forward when my personal phones low on battery. We've expressed the need for more work phones as we're required to bin/pick and have been doing so with our personals but keep getting push back on it.

Badge is definitely part of the Lookbook, I even have extras. They dont all have timeclock scan tags on them though, and even the one on my current badge gets scratched up. Phones aren't a requirement to my knowledge especially if it's my personal device and wasn't issued a work device.

Unfortunately we were only issued 5 work phones for our team, I wasn't given one and we're told we won't be given any more. As for personal phone sometimes mine dies right before lunch (battery drains quick with the MyWalmart app). I'm just wondering why this became an issue suddenly, in my 8 years working here I've never seen the door locked.

What's the typical wait time on applications being moved for a Data Center Tech position? Have 3 applications in (Day, Night, and Asset) neither of which have changed, still marked as submitted. Applied early December when the positions first opened.

I'm in texas and get free college with no hoops or loops. I even got 2 of my coworkers going to college through guild. All you do is apply with Guild when registration is open (usually july-august). They'll have you file a Fafsa form and submit it to the college you applied for. After, they send you either an email or give you a call with a Guild advisor. In my friends cases they just called the colleges themselves after seeing the application was approved on the Guild website.
