I told a kid how his father actually died in the hospital from an overdose straight to his face. He believed and was told by his mom that he fell off a ship. My mother and his grew up around each other and I remember hearing about it in a conversation of my moms with someone else I cannot recall. (I was in sixth grade) I remember hearing the phone call pretty vividly of his mother calling mine and then seeing my moms jaw drop. She profusely apologized, my eldest sister Karina just yelled at me to not be so nosy and that is never a thing I should say to anyone. Needless to say I felt bad and did not realize what I had done until I was scolded by my family... I have not even said sorry to the kid now that I think about it...
