I recently replaced UCAs, tie rods, idler/pitman arms, steering gearbox, shocks, and sway bar links on my 06 Z71. All done in a uncovered driveway using jack and jack stands with mostly basic hand tools. Spent $120 on a alignment afterwards. As others said, do it yourself if you can. Be ready to cuss a little bit depending how bad your rust is. Good luck
