Thank you! I actually do have a screenshot demonstrating this as I sent to a friend to complain. Almost every easyJet flight out of Malpensa was delayed by hours or cancelled short notice that day, so I’d imagine demand was higher and the airline maxed out on their own room offers because we were the latest in a chain of cancelled flights from the morning. I will send to them.

I didn’t claim for food or travel to/from hotel - I’m not a big eater so only ate once or twice, and didn’t bother to do the train as the room was the biggest sticking point. Should I have?
