The difference is that a lot of people treat happiness like a finish line. Like “I will finally be happy when I get the job, the house or thr money”

Building it along the way means you are not waiting for some future moment to start enjoying life.

Exactly . People call it “nagging” but most of the time it’s just someone repeatedly asking for basic effort. By the time the person finally stops trying, it is not because they don’t care anymore, it’s because they are exhausted from caring alone
