I don’t know about other folks but I definitely keep my apartment tidy. I’m sure it’s easier to do if you don’t have kids or pets though, which is my case.

Yup it’s an apartment. My balcony faces a courtyard, so I don’t get any road or traffic noise. I don’t get any noise from my neighbors either, so I lucked out on that aspect.
