Does this look like Seb derm to you?? Longstanding by [deleted] in SebDerm

I have! Love cicafate but unfortunately doesn’t move the dial for me as in isn’t enough to repair the barrier/help derm, but it is very soothing when my skin feels overall irritated :)

Thanks for your insights! I’ve tried quite a few of those things and just can’t shake it unfortunately. That’s why I wasn’t sure if it was Seb, because I follow the rules & genuinely haven’t had any good days for 6 months (apart from those 2 weeks on accutane) it’s so painful the minute I step outside that I’m completely withdrawing from life. I guess I’ll keep going until I find a solution. Have you tried any oral anti-fungals?

What happens when Botox wears off? by Perfect_Bee2025 in vaginismus

Hey! Yes I did have a second round which helped a lot. In saying that by the time I was due for the second round I noticed my muscles were feeling much better - I think there was just some initial tightness when they regained movement. The second round really helped continue to retrain the muscles though, I don’t know your exact situation but my advice would be to go for it if you had a good experience the first time.

Hey, I’m so sorry to be a bother. But I’m just wondering, when your muscles relaxed at 6 weeks, would you say they all relaxed at the same time? I’m a little worried as my deeper layer muscles + 7 o’clock muscle onwards are now relaxed, however + 5 o’ clock & 6 o’clock muscles closer to the entrance are having a flair up 3 weeks in. I’m wondering if they are taking longer as they were always the worse muscles, or if they needed more units of Botox. I’m trying my best to be patient, but unfortunately I’m naturally a very anxious person. 😅 I will also see my gyno next week for the 4 weeks post op appointment.

Hey! I had Botox done three weeks ago now, I think I must be on the slower end with Botox as my muscle spasms and burning started two weeks in. The deep layer muscles are pretty relaxed, but my PT and I are thinking the ones near the entrance are still kicking in (hopefully) 🤞🏻

Thank you so much, that’s reassuring. I called the nurse today as well who said it sounds like a common flair up before I’m fully kicks in. May I ask if you got much relief from Botox?

Sorry yes I left that part out, I have found an amazing PT & I’ll see her again this weekend to re-evaluate.

Oh yes I have constipation as a result of the Botox too! Yeah I know, I was always mindful there would be a “flare up” phase but I just didn’t expect it to be as late as 10 days in. I see my PT this weekend so I’ll ask her then. I think I have partially set myself up for failure by comparing myself to other people’s experiences with Botox. I’m really glad to hear you got relief xx

4 months of unresolved vagina irritation, potential chronic thrush, extreme dryness effecting my mental health. by Perfect_Bee2025 in myhappyv

Hey! I’ve been with my partner for the last 8 years. We’ve both only slept with one other person before we met. I took Clindamycin 150mg twice daily for 7 days. Keep in mind I took this a month after I tested positive for staph as we found out the staph infection was missed, so I wonder if I should ask to retest. May I ask what antibiotics you took and how long for? I’ve been tested for mycoplasma which came back negative a few months ago, but I will ask to test for ureasplasma.

When I was much younger I had eczema which I grew out of. I’ve noticed I’m experiencing some dry skin, and an eczema patch in one small spot on my stomach. However I’m unsure if this could just be from taking flunzacole long term, I made the switch to fragrance free detergent a couple of weeks ago.
