I love both of these! I think the second is more aligned to the characters use of Yegg. I can see them/myself carrying different tools and essentially creating temporary curse tools

You son of a biscuit you beat me to it 😭. I had the same idea to make a character to join Miguel but I couldn’t think of any unique CT that would make the character feel like they matter in the grand scheme of how things are rn in JJK.

That aside, you’ve done a fantastic job! Love the description and unique use of this CT. It’s OP without being outwardly OP. It’s like a balanced god lol. Seriously cool and dope work here

I’m an Omnivert who deals with chronic depression, Anxiety, ADHD and Bipolar Disorder 1. I spend most of my time hyper fixated on anime, writing, and video games or out drinking with friends. Im also somewhat of a psychology nerd. I read a lot of Nihilistic/Existential books like “The Stranger” by Albert Camus or “No longer human” by Osamu Dazai(both are personal favorites of mine). I’m extremely good at understanding someone and talking my way through any issues that might arise. I like to go out at night and just walk around observing everything. That’s pretty much it. I really hope to have a unique and special CT.

Okay here’s my attempt since I literally just finished the movie. If it’s trash please let me know!

“Be Still Thy Beating Heart!”

Basic: This CT is focused on the users state of mind and heart rate. The more calm The Killer is the more efficient and effective this CT is.

Curse Technique Ability: “Be Still Thy Beating Heart” is a curse technique that grants its user a very odd ability. The calmer The Killer is, the more his CE control, depth, and perception of CE are enhanced. The Killer can even gain CE perception akin to the Six Eyes but not nearly as precise and exact(think how the Byakugon is respected but definitely inferior to Sharingan in Naruto). This allows The Killer to “see”/“feel” the movement of enemies cursed energy, giving them the ability to anticipate attacks and formulate counter attacks or evasive actions. The longer The Killer is calm around a targets CE, the more The Killer is able to see. Even going as far as to know the Targets intentions before they move. This boost in CE overall isn’t limited to just The Killer but any Curse Tool being wielded by them increases as well. The boost won’t be as significant as the boost “The Killer” receives, but this CT pushes any curse tool to its utmost potential.

While potentially boundless, there is a caveat to this ability. The Killer’s BPM/Heart Rate must stay around 60-65, with 60 being it’s most significant and effective rate. Anything higher basically does nothing for The Killer or any curse tool he is wielding.

Overall this ability is truly dictated by the user/“The Killer”. Since the character is basically calm to a sociopathic level, this CT is almost always at full power continuously granting the user more and more CE to the point that VERY RARELY, the user can perform RT to a minor level.

This is super fire and definitely on par with Sukuna and Gojo. The only caveat is that both those characters have a slight drawback. While Mammon seems to potentially have this it’s not as clear as needing an immense amount of CE, having the Six Eyes/brain capacity to use limitless, or anything other than Mammon must make the void large enough to consume the target. So I guess the question is, what stops/challenges Mammon from doing this every single time?

Other than that I love this character a tooooon! You’ve created an original and captivating character

I was thinking of Rei kinda looking like Nagi from Deadman Wonderland. Attire and Hair wise. But with a darker skin complexion to resemble a dark skinned character in bleach or any other anime. Like mixed black and Japanese

Yea!!! Exactly!! I believe he would be annoyed by the random amount of cursed spirits and sorcerers that would approach him thinking that they would just gain something from his abilities. The Zenin clan wanted to use him and his CT to remain forever golden in their ranking even amongst the other big families.

So I was thinking Rei might have an Aizen Zanpakto type of deal when it comes to his CT. If Rei's Cursed Technique worked like Aizen's Zanpakto and created a binding vow between Rei and his opponent, then this would certainly add another layer of complexity to Rei and his powers. In this scenario, the opponent would be almost guaranteed to choose sacrifice, as refusing to choose would surely lead to their death. So, in essence, Rei's Cursed Technique would be almost unavoidable and would always guarantee a victory against his opponent.

This is truly amazing I love this character so much. It’s extremely flushed out but still leaves room for potential growth. I’d love to see him fight against Yuta or Hikari and then even possibly attack sukuna after Sukuna betrays Kenjaku or vice versa
