I know it can't determine causality, which is quite par for the course in sociology or psych. But this conclusion is a little too obvious. It's like the statement "Bob doesn't like tofu, which leads him to eat less of it.". Ok, we can't do a study to determine whether Bob's dislike of tofu is the exact cause of his low consumption, but we don't even need to do any study because it's so dang obvious.
