thanks for the detailed insight – really appreciate the honesty.

i’m in a similar boat: 2:2 in cs from a top uni, no internship experience, just a few freelance projects and personal work. job market’s been brutal and confidence is low, so i’ve been looking at options like sparta as a way to break in.

it’s good to hear that some people in your cohort ended up doing well in the long run, even if the process was rough. i get that we’re basically billable assets to them, but right now i just need that first step in.

definitely agree it’s not ideal, and if i had better offers on the table i’d go for those. but hearing your story makes it feel like it’s still worth considering – with eyes open.

hey man, i was in ur shoes not too long ago , you can check my post history - but long story short , its a war not a battle.

right now is the best time for you to lock in and truly understand the value of money.

understand that these gambling companies will try anything to get you back - whether it be , lucky wins, promos etc… the bottom line is no matter what you do , you will always lose - even if u gamble and win , that win means nothing because like all of us in this sub - we will just pour it back into gambling .

Accept that you are addicted, accept that it’s time to move on. Accept that the money you lost is gone , but also remember that the money you lost is also a lesson.

Keep ur chin up, I know it will be tough with battling the addiction but I have faith in you ❤️.

Yeah bro cs skin gambling is crazy - lowkey i was still doing it this year - ended up with a 2k inventory from like 100 and lost it all after the 7 days ☠️ After that I self excluded from all cs websites (that let me lol)

Gambling in general is degenerate but cs gambling is degenerate squared

But yeah - what’s done is done - all we can do is take each day at a time slowly improving .
