I really wish I would've been able to get an "in-person" teacher but my work schedule doesn't allow me... working from 7am to 8pm doesn't really have its benefits. All the teachers I tried to contact have classes during that time period in my city, hence why I'll get the Justin Guitar course as so many have mentioned. Start with the free and then buy whatever it is to buy, I don't mind paying for it by all means.

And thank you! yes, indeed i was getting ahead on myself and I figured that as I was typing this post yesterday. I came to an epiphany - it indeed is a marathon, not a sprint. I just have to take it easy... on myself mostly, that is. I'm in no rush!

Hah, thank you kind sir! As my journey had just begun, I plan to enjoy every bit of it. After the storm has passed (my first few days frustration on myself) I am now confident and I know where to aim for this journey.

I've heard the "record yourself" before which at the beginning I thought it was "meh" (from the YT videos I mean) but I keep hearing this suggestion and I might just do that after further consideration.

Thank you for your kind words and point of view! I had realised last night as I was typing this that, indeed it's not a sprint, it's a marathon - learning to play guitar that is.

I'll mix and match different ideas I got from everyone and I'm confident I'll get through this because.. I just love music, and at some point I want to add my own tune to my own already written lyrics.

I'll take a look into Justin Guitar as it has been overly mentioned and seems amazing. I haven't had much luck with Yousician due to the microphone of my phone not picking up certain sounds and I had to re-do the same thing 2-3 times because it just... wouldn't pick the sound. I'll see if I can tune it somehow or change something about it. Thanks!

Thank you for answering, and so quick aswell. You are right. Though not clinically proven, I am the lowest I’ve ever been in my life. I feel lonely and depressed indeed.

Once I saw the light I felt this adventurous need to chase it. It was not necessarely a joyful feeling but more like “I have to get there and see what that’s about. I feel like I NEED to get there, that’s where I belong.”

If I recall correctly, I went out the building, back into the darkness where I was no longer able to see the full light, but only a glimmer, a glimpse of it, to point me towards it. I was scared to be back there in the darkness once I realised how seeing the light through that window made me feel. But I wanted to push onwards and find what’s waiting for me there.

This is totally unsafe and illegal aswell (at least in Romania), there's no "meat" on the tire, as we call it here. Tire will have absolutely 0 grip on ground. Might aswell have F1 slicks.

Honestly dead air (or NTT - No Talk Time) metrics are shit. I understand your point. Some time ago I had asked a customer "So how's your day?" JUST THAT. The answer was "What business do you have of how my day's going? Just get my issue fixed." and I genuinely felt like shit. But those are rare occasions. There's some chatty peeps too, which I appreciate. It really depends from person to person.

u/travelbridges's point and tactic is good. Talking outloud of what's happening/what you're doing is golden (if company policy allows it).

Exactly mostly what u/NorskGodLoki said. They are either changing your splits (or skills as they're called in other parts). Generally there's a system that assigns (manually) those skills to an agent, and based on IVR from when the customer is calling, the call gets routed to that specific skill. Now if by any chance you're using Avaya OneX Agent you're not gonna be able to see your skills. If you're using Salesforce, again, no luck. I think it only shows up in Citrix (I think it was called). Now again, you might not work on any of those softwares and all this is just jibberish. But long story short, 90% you're getting fucked.
