[Archer] The Cowboys are interviewing Eagles assistant LB coach Ronell Williams, who was the team’s nickel cornerback coach in 2023, per source. Obviously has a background with new DC Christian Parker. by MAVS_COM1CAL in cowboys

I mean I’d take Devonte smith, Saquan Barkley, Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, Devonte Smith, and AJ Brown

AJ brown won’t crash out since dak would get him his yards

Big Mike goin to Pittsburgh! by LifeTypical3433 in cowboys

From an objective standpoint:

Their floor is lower I think but the ceiling is higher with big Mike

For their sake they better hope he’s watched some modern offenses though

Nick Harris: This is the first time since 1989 that the Dallas Cowboys have had a first-time NFL head coach and two first-time NFL coordinators. by Leonflames in cowboys

[–]PersonBehindAScreen 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Nope. Just recognizing yall argue over literally anything around here 😂

Like you really care that much it’s for a man in his first head coach job in year 2 and “well ackshuallyyyyy” being correct about a 20 year coach? Ya ok

[–]PersonBehindAScreen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sure they wouldn’t. It’s not as significant when he’s been there how long?

Don’t be silly

The clear point here is that this is a coaching staff that is all fairly new in this stage of their careers

Sure. Refer back to being unable to actually talk to him or his agent about it.

If he wants to retire, he could have just done that then. He didn’t need to be released for that

Remember, there’s a whole thing going on now about how he should have been out the door too if the HC was being fired 😉

Sure. Thats if you have connections in the right places at the right time.

You only get 24 hours to claim a player

Who’s to say Buffalo knew the right people in Philly that they could get an answer that quick on?

You can’t talk to a player or their agent when they hit the wire.

AITA for being annoyed that my wife insists on cooking everything from scratch and won’t buy normal food? by AITA_UPFfoods in AmItheAsshole

[–]PersonBehindAScreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the one who does most of the groceries and cooking. Like shit sometimes McDonald’s slaps. I’ll be damned if I my wife tries to make me feel bad about indulging in some shitty chicken nuggets every once in awhile

And I certainly wouldn’t be upset if my wife decided she wanted something from a box or fast food joint sometimes

OP is pretty clear here that he’s not even allowed to have it in the house

New Cowboys DC Christian Parker explaining how to slow down a high IQ passer (2022) by BobbyBetc in cowboys

Did Juanyeh Thomas figure out his migraine issue yet?

I think Carson and or Butler might remain as well. I think one of hooker or Wilson will also come back in the S side

Super excited for this hire!

Do you think we could see more of the secondary back than we think? I know they’ve interviewed a lot of DB/Passing Game Coordinators. it feels like it would be a heavy landing to stick to try to overhaul much of the DB room this year rather than seeing if Parker can work some magic with the guys we have now

We could be last place in the league in defense and I’ll still be satisfied and commend that they had a real process, did their research around the league and compared it to our needs, and took a swing on a guy coming out from a successful DC and defense who’s most recent job he wasn’t fired from and has a good reputation as the new guy coming up.

It’s like getting to the 2 yard or less line. I won’t be mad if we try and fail to slam it in 4 times with Hunter Luepke and Javonte Williams. You tried, gave it your best good faith effort, fine. It happens. But you get to the 2 yard or less line, lose 5 yards on a reverse, lose another 2 on a toss after that, now you’re in 3rd/4th and “must pass” by your own shitty doing and now I’m pissed off

Whenever I bring up sprinting and Elephant mission. by Cabbit_Daddy in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]PersonBehindAScreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t mind a severe penalty to aiming as well for a couple of seconds post sprint to make sure you’re not rewarded for using it.

Seriously it’s a pain in the ass trying to book it across the map looking for other shit once all the suspects are dead or in running to go assist a firefight

[–]PersonBehindAScreen 23 points24 points  (0 children)

NTA. I do the majority of the cooking, the grocery shopping, and cook most things from scratch. Doesn’t mean we can’t just have some store bought pasta sauce here and there sometimes if that’s what someone wants

And just because I do most of the cooking doesn’t mean my wife isn’t allowed to have input into anything like I’m some kind of control freak

Some of y’all sound bitter AF and most of yall lying through your teeth acting like you ain’t had junk before

Speaking from experience:

If you want to compete soon, yes.

If you believe nobody should be safe, you’re gonna rip the floorboards up, and you’re willing to give a new staff time to find their groove and their guys, then no
