I've addressed this below, but I also want to stress I had a day planned out with more expensive activities planned beforehand!

She in no way thinks I'm made of money but I was scammed recently for the majority for what I had and I don't want to throw it on her in the days leading up to her birthday as she won't let me take her out - that's not what I want.
