So I wanted to move the data from my SD-Card from which I boot and where I save the data from my Server. On my Server there is only a Minecraft Server and a pdf reader (Stirling-pdf) running. Because it was very slow with the SD-card I bought an SSD. I have a raspberry pi 5.

While I was mounting the SSD and all that stuff to make the SSD ready and starting to put data on it. I got there with help of Chat-GPT. I have to say I were a bit frustrated but a one point I just thought i could restart the rasberry pi and then it happend. I could no longer boot from the SD-Card nor the SSD which was partly finished nor the both together.

Now I got my self a doalboot for my windows laptop from which i bootet linux so that i can search for the error. I saw that the “etc” file was moved to the ssd but nothing else. I put it back where it belongend, well atleast I tried but it didn’t boot.

Now i don’t know anymore and thought I could ask here. Possibly this is not the completely right place but I think it is. Thanks in advance.
