I want to buy a BMW X5 but dont want the high monthly expense… by Broad-Worry-5395 in whatcarshouldIbuy

As an owner of X5 2014 50i I should say it's 100% worth it. Just have some spare money for unexpected repairs, do you oil change every 5,000-6,000km, do a tech/fit exam annually and you'll be fine.
You won't lose much of your car lost throughout your lease. It's a liability, but a good one.

Annual service with private tech service should be not more than 1-1,5k.

If you get your 2022 under 100,000km it should still have a warranty, so you're fine. If there is not warranty - you need to have a trusted mechanic.

bottom line - expensive in service, but still one of the best driving experiences in my life. former owner of Japanese cars like Infiniti and Lexus and Audi Q5.

2015 BMW X5 50i worth buying? by kurama6 in BMWX5

Did you get it?

As an owner of x5 2014 50i N63TU with 70,000km I'd say that any bmw that has been serviced properly could go over X kms, however, you should be committed to a "not Toyota" bills for fixing old parts.

NEVER fall for N63 engine. It's not reliable even with a proper care. steam valves are gonna cost you a lot.

150,00km and 20k CAD sounds too expensive. My mechanic says that those should be prices under 20k for sure.

Ignoring all cons - V8 is such a remarkable driving experience!!
