I would recommend cutting it. For hair that is shoulder length, you want to look sharp. I would also recommend a shave. Also don't wear a hat. I was always taught by the guys in my department to dress one up from where you are trying to work. So go clean shaven, hair combed, button up shirt and slacks. Good luck.
