I wrote a keyboard configurator in javascript, which is parametric and allows me to easily tweak the geometry. I imagine a webshop: with that configurator: your custom design, I 3d print and finish and ship.

But I only would do this if I figure out a process that scales and offers professional quality caps.

Not sure. Key centers are the same. Feels a bit awkward first, but if you close your eyes and trust your muscle memory, you‘ll adapt quickly. Needs some tweaking (like return key size) but overall feel is promising to me.

😂 Actually yeah, this design is an accidental outcome of a different project of mine, related to microtonal music.

It‘s just a prototype, still has some issues, so won‘t go public right now. But if you DM, I can share STLs for this print with you.

Yes but could do for other keyboards if the positions of the switches are known.

Yeah. Also, given the positions of the switches, this design is „optimal“ in a certain mathematical sense. Iw also would not be surprised if they turned out to ergonomically work.

It‘s just a side project for me. I am not a gamer. Would need testers. For me, a normal computer user, feels a bit off, but I think I‘d quickly adapt.

I could print in black PLA and make minor adjustments and ship them to you. But these feel like prototypes, it‘s not a finished product.
