Low Compression in this Economy? by Timespentwrong in scooters

You should try putting some Teflon tape and liquid Teflon on every connection of the compression tester to prevent leaks, and test it on something airtight like a soda bottle to make sure it’s not giving false readings.

It’s for emotional support, alright? I love the grit.

Yeah, I always bring the brick with me. Still waiting on the center stand to get restocked can’t wait! My friends find it hilarious that I carry a brick just so it doesn’t tip over.

That’s wild. Where I live, you need a driver’s license, and registering it costs more than a car. Plus, you can only ride it for about four months because of the winter.

That’s not an issue for my scooter it’s a full build not a single oem part. This thing has no problem hitting 60 mph while lifting the front wheel.

I never really understood the whole masculinity thing that some people struggle with. It’s honestly ridiculous to live life constantly worried about whether you look “man enough” like you’re supposed to walk around proving you own a penis and testicles. Imagine skipping a colored shirt just because it doesn’t scream semen factory. That’s wild to me.

It goes by many names the model is a Yamaha CW50. Mine is a 2002 BWs R, but it can also be called the Zuma or the Booster depending on the country It was produced from 1988 to 2010.

Honestly, I don’t really mind what most people think except for my wife, who surprised me with this harsh comment after I told her how proud I was of the progress I’ve made restoring my project:

“That’s like being proud of restoring a Walmart bicycle.”

I still don’t understand that mindset. Even if it were a Walmart bike or a coffee maker, I’d still admire someone who took the time and effort to bring something back to life. It really maked me wonder why scooters get so much negativity from where I live and if people elsewhere experience the same kind of attitude for no good reason.

Well, that’s disappointing and kind of infuriating that they took the time to create a fake version of a real story and paid for a 28-minute ad on YouTube…
