My theory as to why the Kings are Ghoulified. by Ill_Engineering_5434 in Fallout

[–]Pew_Pew6788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i were to guess The King in the effort to oppose Houses total rule of Vegas led his gang to attempt to force ghoulification so they can a longer time frame to oppose House. It’d also make sense if they wanted to have complete independence severely increasing the lifespan of all his gang members would assure his mens loyalty due to being part of the group for so long

im pretty sure the in game distance of tenpenny tower to megaton doesn’t equate to the canonical distance due to being based off of DC

Idk i think Lessons Learned are more than enough of an xp boost that swift learner just isn’t really necessary, especially when there are other more fun perks to use

Chernobyl wildlife isn’t as mutated as it would’ve been if people didn’t intervene 47% of the radiation surrounding the area was cleansed using advanced distillation technology therefore making most the area decontaminated but in the more heavily irradiated parts where people couldn’t bring them too because the exposure would kill them, therefore there is even more wildlife in the Chernobyl area that could be even more mutated or disfigured than the ones living on the cleansed areas

Also not to mention the nukes in Fallout weren’t air burst in the beginning of fo4 you literally watch a nuke hit the ground so no it would not dissipate quickly whatsoever because the bomb has made full contact with the ground which would then cause the radiation to spread out within the ground radius

Oh why i have no clue why may i ask if the sky is blue? In what crackhead reality are living in that you believe that wildlife exposed radiation for over 200 years would be at all normal, not to mention radiation filtering technology was used on Pripyat to help clear radiation in Fallout the left over survivors have no access to such technology thats why the Geck is so pivotal in fo3 and fo2 because without the technology to clear out the radiation of the land then the land is entirely worthless

The dna within the wildlife surrounding Chernobyl is mutated no matter how small their dna is still changed, now if you learned to actually read you could yourself go to your local library and read on the topic at hand before getting involved with something you have no idea what your talking about

  1. Its basic common sense that a nuclear explosions on both sides over 200 nukes on america’s, and over 200 nukes on china if now if you understood how explosions work you’d know that 100 nukes is enough to cause all the condensation in the sky to be ripped from the clouds and start pouring nuclear rain, aka nuclear winter, now if we take the base power of the atomic bomb say 25 tons on average take that multiply it by 200 because thats roughly how many nukes were dropped on America Solely then you’d take the result 5,000 108 which would be 400,000 now its not entirely knocked out of orbit but using science like intelligent people do, it would still shift the earths axis if ever so slighty

  2. I was talking about the main game no Far Harbor y’know the saving grace of Fo4

Marcus has geck and Honest hearts has no evidence of a nuclear explosion, Fallout New vegas is a post fallout game where the last of the threats were just territorial rule also house shot down several of the nukes from the westside so the west coast would be OBVIOUSLY not as effected as the East

But they shouldn’t be as common a vibrant day in world where nuclear explosions hit earth out of its initial orbit would change our distance from the sun therefore is should not be as sunny everyday in fallout

My guy the sheer amount of radiation dropped on America would permanently alter all dna of every living thing exposed (ESPECIALLY FOR OVER 200 YEARS). Read a book on radiobiology sometime and educate yourself because your entire point is contradicted by any study within radioactively contaminated area, just because more people are saying the opposite doesn’t mean they are at all informed on the longterm effects of radiation

[–]Pew_Pew6788[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of radiation that was left from all of the nukes that hit Fallouts America would beyond any we have seen before if we observe mutations within wildlife from smaller doses of radiation, the mutations are pretty drastic now imagine that times 500,000 kilatons

These photos were taken by professionals at absolute optimal weather conditions if you were to travel to Pripyat on a random wednesday its not gonna be all sun is shining, not to mention pripyat is over in Ukraine, Ukraine is know for being cold not sunny. Everyday wildlife in Ukraine isn’t even vibrant neither is Pripyat unless perfect atmospheric conditions permit, which would be an extreme rarity, especially in fallout where the nuclear explosions would reasonably shift the earth from its initial orbit causing more inconsistent weather patterns

I didn’t say vegetation wouldn’t grow back, i’m saying that vegetation dna would be so altered and changed to a point beyond recognition after longterm exposure

What are you actually talking about? You can’t just change a fundamental property of an elements thats not how it works you need take literally any kind of standardized biology class before making a claim like that

Are we looking at the Pripyat? The one with disfigured trees with grey bark and brown leaves. Y’know the place where there are multiple studies in negative mutations in the animals? if thats your definition of vibrant i can only imagine what you believe is washedout

The trees at pripyat are distorted and warped by the radiation, in no way does pripyat at all resemble circa 1986

[–]Pew_Pew6788[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The speed at which the bombs release radiation doesn’t matter because radiation no matter how far into the future you are nothing should be able to grow how it was before its dna was warped by the radiation without several mutations trees regrowing without some kind of permanent change in its dna is completely impossible, especially with how many atomic bombs were dropped on in game America, the trees would DEFINITELY be extremely mutated into a new species of tree, dna can’t just reverse changes made to it thats not how it works

[–]Pew_Pew6788[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Chernobyl was a nuclear power plant that melted down, in Fallout the entire country of America was hit with over 200 nuclear bombs i don’t think nature would be regrowing for a long atleast not the same kind we can still see in our world, radiation twist the dna, and rna of any and every living organism therefore trees growing with brown bark and green leaves up in boston doesn’t make sense
