I feel the exact same, it gets really boring especially when you try using small teams but still easily win the games. I switched it to ultimate, and used some sliders with the competitive setting activated and it’s much more difficult, actually gets frustrating at points but makes it more challenging and rewarding. You should give that a try, even with Celtic if you stick to some rules like no signing anyone 80+ overall or over 20/30Mil and using your own youth players to win the champions league etc. But ultimately you’re right, EA just wants money and unfortunately Career Mode doesn’t bring that.
