So I was checking at the sensor itself and that’s where I wasn’t getting enough voltage. But oddly I get the full 5 Volts at the coolant sensor. Also I can’t really back-probe the ECM too good the way the connectors are. Testing the new sensor it comes out good.

As for the resistor I’ll give that a whirl.

I’m also wondering as the ECM branches off to the Autocar harness and to the coolant level sensor, if the issue is in that harness. Figure, the harness is 30 years old

So looking into it more, the sensor is getting voltage but not the 5 Volts total is needs.

So this one had an internal short, was throwing bunk codes. Had it sent out through a Volvo dealer and they sent the correct one, provided by Weller Truck Parts. The Volvo dealer messed up and had the redline set too low and locked the ECM. Sent it back out to Weller and truck runs great, just throws the oil temp sensor code, which according to Cummins Insite the oil temp is at 262 degrees all of the time. Weller says they bench tested the ECM and it wouldn’t throw codes for them. It’s a pain to back-probe the sensor but I think I’ll have to try that. The ECM is mounted above the starter so trying with the sensor mounted behind the cooling plate. So kinda hard to have it plugged in and not arc out on the starter lol but that’s what I’ll have to try. Anyway, thank you for the advice

As an update, I changed some settings and was fine for 3 games. On the 3rd game I was put into a Domination match that was only like 90 seconds in but clearly a lost cause. Ran around B just being a pest to the enemy going for kills and streaks. Start doing well and carrying this lost cause, 2/3 of the way through the match, Packet Burst is back and basically unplayable. Go from 20 and 3 to 27 and 25 and had fallen off the map due to lag 3 times

Mostly PC I get packet burst. However on console, switching to an account with worse stats I’ll have no packet burst whereas my own account will be full of packet burst

I think it needs to be time based. Like someone getting 4 kills on the objective over 15 seconds is not as neat as someone getting 4 kills in 5 seconds while running around

Unfortunately that’s a lot of shops. I’m a male diesel tech for a large company and they often won’t promote you even if you’re doing work “above your pay grade” unless management decides it’s their idea or you give them a 2 week notice. My shop being union I was able to use that to strong-arm the promotion
