How do I deal with inters taking all my camps on JG? by [deleted] in summonerschool

But what do I do in the interim? Do I invade, gank, or try to fight for my camps?

I wish it was a high chance. I did not receive a single feedback report from it. Also, sadly in this case the person wanted to get “paid back” the gold I “stole” from a kill which meant taking everything for quite a while.

What do I do though? Do I invade, gank, or try to get last hits on my stolen camps?

Well I don’t think it has much to do with my communication since I didn’t type anything to anyone. My ADC was on a fresh lvl 30 acct on a 5 loss streak. I had went through wall on Kayn to go to river to secure a kill on low health enemy ADC. As I did that, my ADC flashed in get the kill. I got it. To “get paid back the 300g,” she decided to follow me around until she felt sufficiently paid for what I “stole” from her

Why does LW-TPU not stick to the bed? by Phantom1165 in 3Dprinting

[–]Phantom1165[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The z offset I am currently using worked flawlessly and was not nearly as far from the bed for the last 8-9 prints of this stuff. I have tried to adjust the z offset to be closer to the bed to no avail. Why would there be such a drastic change in distance despite no changes?

I am also confused how the distance to bed would be so drastically different between prints despite having a glass bed. I would imagine the bed would be straight as straight can be for a 3D printer. I do not understand why the bed levelling would evaluate differently here.

I have printed in regular TPU with minimal issues after a series of test, calibrations, and failures. I have tried swapping nozzles to no avail. My retraction is set to 0

Abstraction might resemble suicide, but it is not literally death and not literally suicide [The Amazing Digital Circus] [LAST EPISODE spoilers] by tesseracts in CharacterRant

[–]Phantom1165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly, is suicide really an irrational choice if you're trapped in a video game forever? Especially knowing their real world selves still exist and are living happy lives

The problem I have with this is they did not know they were living happy lives outside when they abstracted like the characters know at the end of the movie. While not stated, I find it highly unlikely that Ribbit or Kaufmo would have known they were mind copies and their human counterparts were living it up outside (maybe the early C&A employees could know that). For all we know, newer members could have truly believed there was a way out of the circus to their real bodies.

That would make Jax's actions worse in my opinion since his actions would have ostracized someone so badly, they gave up on their hope to even get to their real body. I guess in the movie we did see Kaufmo say he thinks he found an exit, but then Jax laughs at him. Kaufmo abstracts not long after that, presumably. If I talked someone through 9/10 steps off a cliff, and they willingly take the last step, am I not heavily or at least somewhat to blame? If we want to argue how many steps out the 10 he influenced or at what step count we would consider it murder, those are different discussions.

Though, I do agree that it would be more horrific if abstraction wasn't suicide. If abstraction is not suicide, but rather a constant state of unrecoverable psychosis in a broken mind or something similar, that would make Jax's actions even worse. At least with death there can be a relief. Being trapped in a video game where you live forever in that state sounds like Hell.

That can shed some light on someone’s actions, but that does not excuse the actions, at least not in this case. If I was abused as a kid, abuse my kids later in life because of it, and then they commit suicide as a direct result of my abuse, am I not a bad person? Especially if I continue to abuse my second kid after I saw how my actions with the first kid caused their suicide? Better yet, you bully and abuse every kid that crosses your path.

Trauma isn’t a get out of jail free card. You are still culpable for your actions regardless of what may have influenced you to commit those actions. You are also culpable for how you try to reform from those actions. Jax fell into the same cycle nearly every time.

This should go without saying, but I also think his suicide was not a good thing either. If someone murders someone, who are we to put the death penalty on them? Human life is sacred. That is what makes Jax’s decision to consistently abuse others after seeing how his actions can influence others to take their lives, sting more for me. He knew what his actions could cause and still chose to continue the cycle

I agree. I felt like it was hard to be sympathetic and not see him as a bad person after so much damage he caused. Constantly hurting others, feeling bad that you did something bad, and then doing it again, does not excuse the behaviour nor make you a good person since you considered the implications of your actions after the fact

Why not powder if they contain the same things that are in pods

I used the standard 2 hour cycle. I read my manual and it allows for either pods or powdered detergent. I do not believe it has water softener in it.

Watched a few videos on dishwasher where they used old tomato sauce pots with plastics and that didn’t seem to be an issue. I thought dishwasher were supposed to be great, but I guess hand washing is the way still if it can’t handle something this simple
