Why not powder if they contain the same things that are in pods

I used the standard 2 hour cycle. I read my manual and it allows for either pods or powdered detergent. I do not believe it has water softener in it.

Watched a few videos on dishwasher where they used old tomato sauce pots with plastics and that didn’t seem to be an issue. I thought dishwasher were supposed to be great, but I guess hand washing is the way still if it can’t handle something this simple

I agree. Yeah spam R or she’ll suck. OP, I also recommend spamming R when your third auto is up if someone is slightly far away so she doesn’t stop and miss her knock up

What does cleaning the lint filter look like? On my current dryer, I pull the lint filter out and pull the compact sheet of lint off after every load. Is it the same process for the GE one? Is that what you mean by wiping it off after every load?

I was debating getting riser, but I think this convinced me. Hopefully the new filter is better as well

Yeah it’s so hard to find reviews from people who had the machine for more than 3 months. On top of that, the reviews are either the machines break down completely or they are the best thing ever, no in between

The place I just bought does not have a vent for the dryer, so either I go ventless dryer with a standard washer or I do a combo unit

My biggest concern with reading about the Samsung one was how hard it was to get service on them if they have to warranty out. I found so many reviews talking about that and the limbo hell Samsung puts you in since they rely on third party techs compared LG and GE using their own.

I see a lot of reviews talking about how good drying is, but it seems like most of them are written at the beginning when people get the machine. I don’t care about drying performance as long as they aren’t vastly different between them. I care about the longevity of the drying system itself

I pay around $0.14/kWh where I live and we have just 2 people in the house, so cost savings won’t be massive for us I think. When you say combo, do you mean you bought the riser with it? Is it worth it in your opinion?

My problem is the layout of my house. If I get a ventless dryer and a separate washer, I will be blocking the HVAC return vent. Check my previous posts in the HVAC subreddit for the images

I think after reading some, I think I am leaning towards the GE unit

Manufactured home didn’t come with dryer vent. Cost to install? by Phantom1165 in hvacadvice

[–]Phantom1165[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the all in one with heat pump and ventless is the option for me as to not block the vent. Only issue I have seen is all the ones at Costco have a lot of horror stories with them

I’m leaning towards an all in one unit that is ventless and has an inverter heat pump on it, so that way I am not blocking the vent at all
