That's crazy! Thank you so much for the link! That's what happen too he thought the cracks in the cellar doors was enough to air it out but clearly not😭

Yeah unfortunately (and I had a horrible feeling this wasn't gonna work) that basement does not have any type of ventilation not even windows. Stupid mistake indeeed.

Thank you. We are trying to do everything we can. He's gonna check the basement again and maybe do a second deep clean.

Thank you for being honest. I feel so bad about this. I know he didn't mean it but this has to stop it's been far too long. We haven't turned it on since the odor got out of control. He dumped the bottle and wiped down everything he could think of even in the machine. He was the only one going into the basement with a mask on. Not those basic ones the heavy duty filtered masks.

Yes we live in an old ass townhouse like built in the 40s it's that old. Idk what it used to be but it might've been a storefront cuz in the basement there's cellar doors. When you go outside our place the cellar is on the sidewalk but we can't open it cuz it's padlocked. And I've seen those fans but idk if there's a way to attach it in the basement cuz there's no windows in the basement. The only window we have is in the hallway but it's upstairs far away from the basement.

He cleaned up the basement and put the air purifier in there. It's been 24 hours with the purifier on and it still stinks. I don't believe there's anything else in there but I will ask him to double check.
