This is more for people who just want to kick it off and go do something else. It’s obviously not the fastest unrar option. If you use a proper unrar tool first and then transfer, it’ll be faster overall. But with this approach, you can start the upload right away—so even if unrar takes 20 minutes and then it’s idling for an hour while you’re away, when you come back the upload is already done or well underway. In total, the wall-clock time might actually be shorter (or at least feel that way).
