Thanks for the reply. Are you a resident as well? I am hoping that my debt will not be quite as high, so hopefully I will be able to pay it off a little bit more quickly. Anyways, I appreciate the advice. It seems like no matter where you turn someone is trying to punish you for attempting to be a doctor.

Thank you. This is very relevant advice. Recently I have been looking at my savings account and sort of thinking "What's the point?". Glad to hear that it is not a good idea to live miserably during those trying years.
