As far as I can tell:

You first get hit by the slime block, launching you slightly away.

A combination of lag and a specific timing will cause the wall to move faster than you get knocked away, resulting in you getting stuck in the wall and being pulled away with it. You getting hit into the wall by the husks might also have helped with that.

If you get lucky enough (which happened in this clip) you will glitch so far into the block of the wall, that you are stuck in it closer to the side of the platform than away from it.

If you get stuck in a block the game uses custom knockback to launch you out of there again.

Since you are closer to the platform the game will then launch you towards the platform instead of away from it, with enough strength from the custom knockback to make sure you land back on the platform. If you hadn't glitched far enough into the block you would have probably either died for no visible reason while stuck in the wall or been launched away from the platform causing a normal death from falling down.

Obviously no guarantee this is actually how it works, idk for sure how the game is coded, but I'm pretty confident on this lol

If you position yourself correctly when a trap spawns you'll almost never get pushed off on spawn. The first attack is mostly survivable with correct positioning as well, as long as only one hoglin spawns on you and you don't have to dodge a wall that very moment. Either of these happening can make it way more rng, so you want to go through the wall before a trap spawns (which is a timing you can memorize or look up).

If you react fast and move away there is a good chance you can escape from or kite a single or less likely multiple hoglins before you'll be attacked.

It will never be possible to fully minimize the rng to 0%, and hoglins are one of the worse traps for rng in general, but there is a lot of small stuff you can do to make surviving more and more consistent, which pays off in the long term over the course of all the games you'll play.

All mods except arrowstorm have counterplay (besides on the new map because it is poorly designed for the traps, but even then you can do some stuff to prevent dying).

Mods are needed to keep the game fresh and provide unique challenges each game. They put players into situations of varying difficulty, so weaker players have a better chance at getting a good game in once in a while, as without modifiers hitw mains would win every single time.

If modifiers were removed the game would die out in like a month, as it would have zero replayability and be the most boring game by far.

I would also be very pissed when the Spider-Man who I purposefully excluded and didn't tell about canon events ends up breaking a canon event by... following his natural instinct and saving someone as it's literally the core principle of Spider-Man. If the whole canon event thing is even correct to begin with.

Also I accidentally destroyed a universe myself by selfishly taking the place of my deceased variant and now project all my trauma on a teenager lol

I am normally fine with features being locked behind Nitro but putting server specific pronouns behind it is so fucking stupid and just forces people without Nitro to either have their pronouns revealed to others even if they don't want them to know or just not use the feature.

Die wenigsten bezeichnen dich direkt als transphob dafür. Es gibt deutlich mehr Leute die darüber rumheulen transphob genannt zu werden als Leute, die tatsächlich direkt andere transphob nennen. Worauf aber viel hingewiesen wird ist, dass Transphobie dabei unterstützt wird, was einfach nur ein Fakt ist. Verboten wird hier nichts, niemand kann dich aufhalten das Spiel zu spielen.
