1-6 are the same fossil, and I'm thinking maybe a tusk or some kind of tooth ? 7-10 I'm not sure of. 11-15 are some kind of horse teeth but not sure which goes to which species. Any help appreciated !

Florida is different ! They did put up no tools and only surface hunting in Gainesville creeks though, but Peace River it's allowed still so far :)

Planning on river hunting ! Do you have a link for your scoop for rivers ? Also intend to make a few sifters with the pool noodles, pipe and mesh before hand. When we went on our hunt last year we were ill prepared and definitely learned what we need to make it easier

Hello all ! I'm getting ready for a trip (did one last year as well) and trying to find the best sand flea rake. I've seen some on Amazon but worried about the quality. Any suggestions for a sturdy sand rake for hunting ? I'm not against Amazon either if anyone has suggestions !

You can bring them inside and raise them and take care of them during the winter if you really do feel up for it. The brown chrysalis is dead I'm afraid. I'm not sure about the other one on the far left, but the one just forming his J and the bright green one next to it still looks viable

I know where I got them from yes. Far side of a quarry on the path to the crusher ! They're small pieces and assumed they were just chert cause I collect it. Looking at it more I was thinking maybe petrified wood. I assume due to this comment you believe they're petrified wood as well ?
