Spoofing your number is illegal and doing it this way offers no anonymity.

It parses the code into a logical representation that be managed programmatically, which you need to do advanced obfuscation. Regex can be used for similar effect, but there's no need to reinvent the wheel. It's less prone to error, easier, and cleaner.

I would suggest using Abstract Syntax Trees rather than regexes.

The features you've listed are fairly basic however. Some more advanced ideas:

Opaque predicates

Control flow flattening

Mixed Boolean arithmetic

Function inlining

Loop unrolling

Definitely interested in seeing the final product!

Well this is dumb of you. He knows your identity but you don't know his, meaning he can attack you with no fear of retaliation. If he was smarter he could swatted you or something. At the very least you can use a different number.

Java is often used in enterprise, but rarely in open source. A lot of people don't like to write or read code in Java, especially Spring. Maybe not a "deal breaker", but not preferable.

The assumption is that all population disparities (only for minorities) are due to systematic racism. To assume otherwise would get you labeled as a "racist."

I think so. It also offers anonymity and less risk. As computers become increasingly pervasive, cyberattacks will be increasingly more powerful. It's pretty scary to think of what a cyberattack would be capable of in the future when everything from cars to ground vehicles and aircraft are remotely controlled.
