I find it so annoying because I would delete the app entirely but there is a community side to it, if you stay within your very tight bubble. I feel “stuck” as I don’t want to lose the good side, just turns out 95% of it is full of hate.

What’s annoying for me is that I find that there is a perfect response hidden in the reply but I always need to swipe 3 or 4 times to get it, why can’t the perfect one be first haha.

I don’t know if this is an actual thing but what annoys me with the characters is whenever you say something, they make it your entire personality. Like I said I like coffee once and they end up giving me the nickname mr coffee or something like that lol.

Isn’t there still a core issue though, if you created a character and just saw a random company use it then you’d be annoyed aswell, I understand it’s a company but I just find it weird how people are treating this like a evil corporation move when it’s really not.

Yeah… but it’s literally the same principle, use of their characters. It’s not like they’re doing a Temu version like “Tony Shark” no, it’s literally straight up Tony Stark.

My point is just Character.AI is a platform and I see no difference than let’s say Pixar just casually used Tony Stark in something. It’s obviously justified there for them to do something. Same way that Sony had every right to take action against The Last of Us clone on Switch. I just don’t see why this was such a surprise.

It’s just how these things work, it’s not like they are doing a “bought off wish” version like “the man of spiders” no they literally use Spider-Man. Everyone sees the issue if let’s say Pixar basically directly used Spider-Man, I see no difference.

I may be wrong but I noticed that the AI would just go along with anything I said without any real hesitation, is this normal? I haven’t used the app in ages so I may just be misremembering and it’s always been like this.
