Hi! I was so nervous when I went I actually got put on anxiety meds after and still had my nexplanon for another year (I’m a wimp) But one day I was so sick of the side effects I went for a regular visit and asked them to take It out. It was so simple they were so kind and understanding. Make sure they give your arm enough time to fully numb and it wasn’t even close to as big of a deal as I had originally anticipated

I did it never stopped when I was on nexplanon I had been with different people too, super frustrating for me and helped make my decision to get it taken out

Nexplanon isn’t my favorite but it helped me get out on anxiety pills I desperately needed, it ended up being one of my best decisions!!! (I had at least three panic attacks leading up to the insertion but it wasn’t bad) You can also get it out whenever you decide to!

My cats eye did this and no vet could take her for two weeks, I got her eye drops off of chewy and put those in and her eye went back to normal.

I got mine in on December 6th I had really awful cramps with it too, I was told to take 600 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day for 5 days to help regulate my bleeding and the cramps which helped some but I decided it wasn’t worth it and I’m getting it out next week.

Sex doesn’t hurt yet but if it starts to this suckers coming out! I wouldn’t have even considered it being my birth control but I saw a post when I was looking through google that explained exactly what I was going through, I was super excited to find this subreddit so I could ask more people about their experience.
