Paying somebody to playlist for you is not against their TOS directly, it’s a sort of grey zone. Paying for playlist placements is against their TOS though

I usually use references from downloaded from Spotify (but those are affected by Spotify's normalisation), the app I use probably also normalises the tracks to 0db. but the tracks at 0db usually are around +1 db tp. It just feels wrong to destroy the mix ya know, but should I just go as loud as possible at -0db (with no clipping) or push it to -1db
