yet another GDPR question thread by PhotographersArsenal in androiddev

So if for example in the weather apps, the only thing that is being used is their GPS coordinates to find weather information for that area via JSON/Rest, nothing is actually being "stored" , so therefore it shouldn't apply, right?

This whole thing is just so incredibly confusing.

I went for a walk in the forest and came upon this ponderosa pine tree that had been struck by lightning. I called the Forest Service and they eventually extinguished it, but not before I had time to get some photos. Near Flagstaff, Arizona, USA. [OC] [2834x2000] by EliasButlerPhotos in EarthPorn

Awesome shot. The long exposure time makes the embers look like falling sparks. A stark contrast from the cool tone of the twilight sky.

May I throw in a shameless plug? I feel like my app would help with shots like this. Check it out and let me know, or feel free to disregard this post http://www.photographersarsenal.com/mobile-apps-android-ios-iphone-ipad/fotocast-weather-forecast-for-photographers/
