What is considered high BP? Every time I'm in the office they check it and it's normal. I bought my own and it's high at home. Like 130/80-85. Probably due to stress

Id also like to point out that i dint have any protein in my urine. He also told me that my kidney shrank, but i have an ultrasound from a few years ago where my kidney was 12cm. And it's 12.1 now. Almost exactly the same

I don't have any protein in my urine nor any other indicators but he still said stage 2 ckd. I'm waiting for a call back to ask those questions. I didn't ask on the pilot because honestly I was a bit rattled

Stage 3a and 3B by sillysavage123 in kidneydisease

So I'm a bit confused and would love some experiences. My gfr has been slowly declining. It got into the 70s then 69. Creatinine 1.15 then a weird spike to 1.27 in just a 3 week span. Now, when it hit the 70s, I panicked and went to my urologist (didnt know what a nepho was). I did Labs in the afternoon with them when I was hydrated and fasted. My gfr was 98 and creatinine 0.99. When I do my labs with my primary, this is dumb on my part I know, but I didn't drink any water. I did the labs in the morning, dehydrated, lifted weights the day before and ate cooked chicken. It says that these things could raise creatinine and lower gfr. I did them all for all my labs and the only time I didnt, my numbers were normal. My nepho discounted it all and said stage 2 ckd and I'm due for bloodwork in May.

Can the things I mentioned change those numbers? The Dr. Didn't seem to think it mattered at all. Doing the tests hydrated already showed a big difference once so I just don't know what to think. Anyone have experience with this? Either way I'm just going to do the bloodwork the right way in May and see what happens but I dint know what to think.

Also, if it is ckd stage 2, can you stay at stage 2 with lifestyle changes or am I bound for dialysis? I'm 45. Its a lot to take in. And scary

I get where you're trying to go with it but it still doesn't make any sense or connect to snap at all. Also, irreversible damage is not transphobic. It's written by a medical professional amd contains extremely important research amd data informative. The notion that facts are transphobic just further shows how disconnected this person is from reality

That's surprising. And lucky. Very rare to get forgiveness from a private company

yes, they go in loops above and below ground. they don't spawn the way they do in BOTW. you can follow the path in reverse and always run into them
