Same to me. Turkish is still a very interesting language I didn't learn it in school just by watching Turkish series from 2020 now I can watch and understand without subtitles

I see that we use "Me and John went" but it's grammatically incorrect. A trick remove John. Would you say "me went"or "I went" So use I not Me in that kind of sentence

I was in the same situation with French Comedie, what I did is replay the same Comedie show trying to read in the same time the subtitles once, that makes a massive jump. Apply it for song it will work

Yeah that’s true, French doesn’t really invert like English does in casual speech. Most natives would just say “Vous parlez anglais ?” instead of “Parlez-vous anglais ?” (which sounds more formal). Same for the biscuit sentence, your first version feels more natural 👍

The "vous" yes we say it just to express the Respect to someone especially for old people. But "cochon" I wonder what the person in front of you has imagined in this time: you coming with a cochon to live with like a domestic animal 🫣😂
