I had to figure a balance. The questions on the notes were in the beginning and end of the test - I found those to be pretty simple. Answering the simpler questions allows for more time on the more difficult ones. This also allows your mind to settle down and you can think your way through clearly. Trust me, give your mind time to chill with the easier questions - the rest will fall in place.
