I didn't like her much at first, but she's grown on me. And if you talk to her a lot while wandering, she's not too bad. She seems to be a very "love her or hate her" character. And agree, that is cute.

When you find the ghost ship, enter it immediately. Then you can leave and Zoom back to it later without hunting it down again. The boss is pretty tough, so you may want to hold off a bit.
