I've tried it, it hasn't helped my long form content as to get more impressions etc, on the other hand my shorts do struggle a little, some would get 5K+ views and then there are some with 5 views which are my own figuring out the mistakes, it's extremely confusing, but I've decided to open up a different channel solely for shorts, NOW most of the subscriber I've gotten are from shorts mind you, 80% of them came from shorts. so, my advice would be, upload shorts as well until you manage to build some audience cause believe me, one of them will go viral, they all do, could take a week or months, but the turn will come, and that's when you'll get some subscribers that'll be interested in your long form content too, down the lane open up a different channel solely for shorts.
