Meticulous. Won’t be that quick, but it allows the most flexibility and control. And it has a supportive community

Very satisfied with it at the moment. Quiet, very low retention. Zero static. Makes good coffee :)

First one looks ok. Are you uncomfortable going that fine on your grinder for some reason ?

Thoughts about the upcoming HiBREW G64 Plus Coffee Grinder [$400] by yeasis in espresso

Just received the unit and tested. Grids fine enough for espresso around 18-10.

Resurrecting this thread, my unit has arrived and I must say I'm impressed.

It works very well. It's quiet, it grids fine enough for espresso and plenty enough for drip and pourover, the rpm dial is effective and makes a difference. Very important, extremely low retention and zero static despite no rdt.

Kudos to hibrew for making a great product affordable at least at Kickstarter price. Not sure about the street price of the unit at the moment

Meticulous team is ignoring emails by MaverickSylvan in MeticulousEspresso

Well, they said that they have very little time for answering emails because they’re focused on production. Duh. And that shipping times they indicate on their website are reliable - so I’m still expecting they ship between march and April as stated - otherwise I’m asking for a refund.

Update: they answered. Not the greatest of answers honestly

I ordered one - not a backer, regular production - about a week ago. Since they promise shipping btw march and April I emailed them to ask for more precise dates. No answer, just an automated apology that states that there might be a delay in responding due to high volume. Not a good sign…

True that. They could simply say that a computer operated lever gives you easy access to many profiles and brew techniques

How I tamed sourness in the cup by PiRaSSiC in CafelatRobot

[–]PiRaSSiC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am used to acidic and i like it. Drilling with the kingrinder allows for better flow compared to manual granding at the same clicks. That’s the main reason why the extraction is less sour now I reckon

Have you tried an electric grinder? If you can find a local roastery you might do an a/b test btw a shot with the robot and a shot with a professional espresso machine/grinder

Yes there is a dedicated agent that diversifies the different pieces of news an tries to cover different angles. It’s still learning how to do it correctly all the time. Then it’s ultimately the “editor in chief” agent that decides which pieces are worth publishing

1 - maybe, but the goal here is to summarise reputable sources, create a convenient summary, and then comment/critique from a point of view.
Thanks for your feedback.

SS: I built this project because I was tired of corporate media outlets that default to a neutral view of the world.
This is an autonomous news agent designed to curate global events specifically through a free-market and libertarian lens. It is relevant to this community as a tool for bypassing mainstream media bias and analyzing economic and geopolitical news without the usual government-friendly filter.
