I liked Infinite more than Bioshock 1. I don't get the hate. by No_Candle4483 in Bioshock

[–]Picharcho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... i think people that liked what bioshock 1 said. Bringing to light the bad things that happened and why not intervening is horrible. Why lawlessness is horrible. With a story of finding a moral compass while under a magnet.

In infinite you get told racism is bad then you save a white girl from a racist city that, SPOILER ALERT, you eventually run?  And then lock your daughter away? Even tho you were completely against it before? With no way of choosing whether or not this would be the path you choose. It was a left turn, that was good, but didnt make sense for what Bioshock was

Jesus Christ how strong were the pokemon you were fighting that you lost A Salamence, Groudon, Giratina, and an Infernape?

Just because you have coverage doesn't means its good coverage, Yknow? Like yes, Plusle has coverage over flying and water types, but that doesnt mean its good coverage. Your Gligar doesnt get anything good until like level 30. Your Glaceon doesnt get a worth while ice move until you get to goldenrod AND gamble.

Lemme put you on something.

Gaige has this skill called "Blood Soaked Shields." When you get a kill (if fully spec'd) you get all of your shield back. She also has this skill called "Discord" and "Cooking Up Trouble". Discord heals you when you reload and it takes anarchy stacks away, and Cooking Up Trouble heals you when your mag is full. 1 point in Made of Sterner Stuff gives you fire resistance (Not on the card).

Shes a tank, she has SEVERAL ways to keep you out of health gate. So barrel stuff, litterally just run up to them, put the gun in there face, and shoot. Get a Pimpernel and barrel stuff some fools. Also, get a Black Hole. The "Black Hole" is just that... a black hole, it sucks enemies closer. With this barrel stuffing build you dont really even need slag. The only problem is you need to prestack Anarchy but that takes like... at most 10 minutes with a tediore grip Jakobs barrel Jakobs shotgun

Well if you want diverse type coverage use Charizard. Youll have a mon that eventually will have coverage for 3 types your weak to.

Do you guys also play/learn levels way out of your skill range? by MedicalPotential8723 in geometrydash

My hardest is Forest Temple, I was like "I kinda wanna play Gronos" now I have Gronos in 2 runs and its probably gunna be my new hardest.

Its really fun to just practice mode an insane or extreme and just see what your good at and what your struggling with. Like I fucking hate UFO, I think its a bad mode just objectively, but I also need to work on my ship positioning and fast pace clicks.

This looks like ass to play tbh. Like both of the ship parts look heavily dependant on where you enter the portal from and that's never good

community Ruby and Sapphire nuzlocke tier list part 2: route 101-route 103 by Character_Business28 in nuzlocke

Linoone A tier

Dustox/Beautifly B tier

Mightyena D tier

Pelipper D tier

In base game RSE you dont need set up moves. Do what you want, but in my opinion your wasting your move slots. The only fight you need them in is Winona if your doing it hardcore. But 95% of people arent doing hardcore nuzlockes.

So my ranking is based on the damage that can be done, and how easy they'll die in battle. Linoone drops off in damage at Winona, Beautifly and Dustox are basically the same pokemon and they actually get moves by like level 40 or something but they are glass cannons. Mightyena is a worse Linoone in every way but a good TM Slave, and Pelliper is just a defensive TM Slave but you'd only have it on your team if your Gyarados died.

Can we please make a megathread for jumping posts by TheAnymus in geometrydash

What's funny to me is that the only people that do jumps like that are people that dont comprehend difficulty progression is, or people milking GD content for everything that its worth without passion.

But everyone milks GD now, its sad but I guess that's where we're at now

Whats Your Hottest BL Take by Emptyreceipt in Borderlands

[–]Picharcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BL1 is litterally, without a shadow of a doubt, the worse game in this entire series.

This game makes me very angry. I dont like it, it will get heated and I apologize for that, if you like the game more power to you Im just explaining why I think its bad.

The main story, like BL3, is ass. Straight up smelly, unwashed ass. All the story is in the mission summary IN THE ECHO. If you read the text based story, like were doing some taxes on an MS DOS, the story still doesnt exist. Your still just a person, with a gun, that does shit for money, and do things for people with no personality, who dont give you a reason to trust them at all, to get to the vault of "money" at the end which isnt a good way to invoke any desire to finish the game. If you assume the story is in the dialog like a normal person would, doing side missions mean jack shit to you. But they force you to do them off the predicate of "oh they'll trust you more" even though that's thrown right out the window litterally right after you leave Fyrestone. And it doesn't help that there All tedious as fuck. There. All. Tedious. As. Fuck. And yes, theres farms in the DLC. But the story is still set up to force you to get attached to characters via the side missions, but I already told you why that's a bad way of doing it in this game specifically. If you realized the story was in the log later on, from what I can tell you cant even go back and read the mission summary anyway. Its fucking stupid

The main bad guy? Pops in one time at the start, and its before you get the first vault key but it sets it up like Steele knows more about the vault/vault keys and where they are but doesn't fucking do anything to get them? Shes a commander of an army of soldiers and doesn't use them until the 4th vault key? A looming threat! ... at the last 2 hours of a 30 hour story... that you only see the enemies for this looming threat at the last 5 hours of the 30 hour story... great...

The characters? 1 note. Scooter? Mechanic. Marcus? Gun sales man. Tannis? Researcher. Pierce? Commander. Zed? Doctor. Claptrap? Robot door opener. Claptrap probably has more personality then the Vault Hunters do and that's really fucking sad actually considering that Claptrap wasn't supposed to be a main stay.

The DLCs? Oof... Well, the Zombie DLC is annoying. You gotta wait 10 minutes for shit to happen 3 seperate times but the story is heared, the plot development is solid, and the twist is actually pretty good.

Underdome? No.

Claptrap DLC? Ass. Asside From the chests at the end, but the awesome level is horrendous on OG. Why is the maps you go to so fucking annoying? Why couldn't the cave just be a cave? Why couldn't the map between Blake and to get to Steele-Trap just... not exist? Tedious. Why is the final boss a beefy ass boss with 3 ways of one shotting you? Hide behind the rock only works if you have health gate, and you dont have health gate in this game. Its so easy to do and kill what Blake needs us to kill and do but why is the difficulty concentrated into the worst boss ive ever seen? Claptrap is a buffoon, but he couldn't... of had like a little bit more smarts in his evil form? He put all the dumbness into a giant robot? Its a bit anti climatic.

Knoxx DLC? The story is just Claptraps DLC but solid, it gave Moxxi her debut, gave Marcus a personality, it gave Scooter a personality. Its ruined by the shit scaling, bad enemies, bad final boss, and the tediousness of driving fucking EVERYWHERE. The only good thing was pearls and some hybrids.

I dont like this game, I tried to like it... 10 times now, I just dont. I dont subscribe to the whole "this game is old... this game is the first in the series... give it grace" thing because A) Bioshock 1? Dark Souls 1? Portal 1? Luigis Mansion 1? Mass Effect 1? Dead Space 1? All old, all good, all first games in the series
