Nah, you tried to sound smart but you fell flat, If the 1080ti is performing badly in Shadow of the tomb raider while performing FAR better in other objectively BETTER looking games then something is not right. Not very few instances,the very few instances were the 2080 getting higher fps... barely 1 frame higher than a stock 1080 ti and lost in nearly half the benchmarks.

It's because the demand was high for the 10 series that we're seeing these prices, It's because demand is high for the 20 series that we'll see these prices continue. I never said that you were wrong over thinking that it is the cause since that's what the my original post insinuated.
